Amanda Beard FHM

Amanda Beard sat down with FHM for an interview recently, and she happily addressed the topic of her dating life. Throughout college, she dated South African swimmer Ryk Neethling, but that relationship ended in early 2005. Shortly thereafter, she became involved with NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver Carl Edwards, but she soon found out that dating a race car driver comes with its share of stress:

Actually, I had liked NASCAR for a long time, but obviously while I was dating Carl I had more of an emotional attachment to it, more of a “please don’t crash and die” kind of attachment.

Apparently Amanda couldn’t take the heat, and she broke it off with Carl in April of 2006.
