Amber Alchalabi of The BachelorHow sad is it for a woman to appear on The Bachelor? Sugar Land, Texas fourth grade teacher Amber Alchalabi actually thinks it’s vitally important—so much so that she ruined her boss’s career over it. The principal of the elementary school Alchalabi works for was demoted, and ultimately resigned, because she let Amber take off 22 days to compete on the un-reality television show.
[Alchalabi] ended up missing a total of 22 school days (with only 10 of them unpaid) — a move that upset several parents when the discovered that, rather than using the time to “care for a sick aunt” like she’d originally told them, she’d secretly used the time to compete on The Bachelor. In addition, parents were also upset that not only were Alchalabi’s students in the middle of studying for the Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills (TAKS) test when she left (and actually took their writing TAKS test while she was away), but the show also filmed some scenes (presumably relating to Alchalabi’s “hometown date” with The Bachelor star Andy Baldwin) at the school upon her return.
Ahhh… who cares about those damn standardized assessment tests anyway? How can you ignore the vitally important real-life lessons Amber has been able to share with her fourth graders, such as “How to whore your skanky self out on TV for a man,” and “Anything for 15 minutes of fame? You bet your Barbie, bitch.”

Where was Ambers’ family? Why couldn’t they be there for her. They must be real loosers to let their daughter down.
