Kurt Cobain in a Dr. Martens ad has Courtney Love all upset.Courtney Love is pissed off at Dr. Martens for using an image of Kurt Cobain up in heaven wearing black Dr. Martens boots. The UK advertising campaign features other dead rockers such as Sid Vicious and Joey Ramone.
Courtney has branded the ad “despicable” and insists the late Nirvana frontman would never have agreed to it.
Her representative said: “Courtney had no idea this was taking place and would never have approved it. She thinks it’s outrageous that a company is allowed to commercially gain from such a despicable use of her husband’s picture.”
Not sure what the big deal is… at least they put his face back on.
