David Hyde Pierce is gay. In fact, he’s been gay for a while now.A CNN piece on David Hyde Pierce of Frasier fame nonchalantly reveals that he is gay.
Pierce got to Los Angeles in the early 1990s when his partner, actor-writer-producer Brian Hargrove, wanted to write for television. A short-lived Norman Lear series, “The Powers That Be” led to “Frasier.”
Wow, didn’t see that one coming. Well, actually, I did, once. But it was Mardi Gras, he was drunk, and I was confused. Ahhh, New Orleans… the city that forgot I was straight.

Like this is news? Was there EVER any doubt? Isn’t the dude that plays his father on Frasier gay as well? Look at the success of Ellen ,Can we hook it up that they come out on a frasier reunion show?
