via Yahoo NewsReal estate mogul and legendary attention whore Donald Trump has been on a well-publicized PR stunt rampage of late, and last night, he blew his proverbial load in Detroit’s Ford Field at Wrestlemania… on April Fool’s Day.
In what was billed as the “Battle of the Billionaires,” Trump was supposed to square off with wrestling’s godfather, Vince McMahon, and the winner got to shave the other’s head. Out of fear that Donald would crack a hip, though, the two billionaires actually had representatives wrestling on their behalf in the ring. Thrilling.
Despite the fact that he was merely a ringside observer, the Donald did manage to get a few “closed-fisted” cheap shots in on McMahon, who was too busy thinking about all the money he was making to actually consider fighting back. Oh, and in the shocker of the evening, Trump’s representative wrestler, Bobby Lashley, won the match, and Trump was rewarded with a pair of shears and an unpleasant surprise courtesy of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin.
While the mogul celebrated in the ring, Austin, who acted as referee during the bout, inexplicably kicked Trump in the midsection and then applied his signature maneuver, the Stone Cold Stunner, to the real estate mogul’s head. Trump ended up facedown on the mat.
Though he lay there stunned, the opportunistic Trump still had the wherewithal to proffer up his package to anyone willing to throw a couple bucks his way.
