via RadarIt’s no secret around Hollywood that director David O. Russell is an asshole—George Clooney reportedly popped him in the face on the set of 1999’s Three Kings because Russell was such an insufferable prick. Now that the I Heart Huckabees tantrum video has hit the Internet, everyone knows it. But was it Clooney who leaked the video to the Web?
Clooney is currently at work on Leatherheads, a football comedy set in the 1920s that he’s starring in and directing. Among the crew members listed on the film’s IMDb page is sound mixer Edward Tise. The two last worked together on Clooney’s Good Night and Good Luck, and, before that, on Three Kings. He also served in the same capacity on—you guessed it—I Heart Huckabees.
Clooney’s rep of course denies that George had anything to do with it, but you can’t fool me. George Clooney is a bad ass, and he just found another way to give David O. Russell the ol’ Ocean’s 13 incher.
