I’ve been waiting all day for this, hoping and praying that truth, justice and the American way still exist. And whattaya know… Paris Hilton has been sentenced to 45 days of fun-filled incarceration along with 2200 of her closest friends at the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, for breaking the terms of her probation. Paris broke into tears, and her mother Kathy acted like your typical aristocrat when faced with being treated the same as the rabble.

A rep for Los Angeles City Attorney Rocky Delgadillo released the following statement:

“City Attorney Delgadillo believes today’s ruling sends a clear message that in the City of Los Angeles, no one is above the law.”

Well, I’ll believe that when I see it. Drunk-ass Michele Rodriguez only served two hours of her 60 day sentence for the same offense. But Judge Michael T. Sauer seemed to want to make an example of her, telling Paris she will not be allowed work release, furloughs, or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail.

So, this is what true happiness feels like… wow. I think I’m gonna go buy a puppy.
