Hugh Hefner lied to ditzy Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson.Who would believe that Playboy’s Hugh Hefner would lie to Playmates? Page Six says he’s been caught lying to one of his three girlfriends, Kendra Wilkinson, because he played nice with an Elle magazine article writer who made Kendra sad.
Writer Daphne Merkin focused the article on the foursome’s E! show, “The Girls Next Door.” But while the story and pictures were flattering overall, Wilkinson was hurt that she was described as “giving off a palpable air of anxiety.” Merkin also quoted Wilkinson as saying her fake breasts were “my best investment” and said the blonde referred constantly to her “slight acne.” Merkin also mentions Wilkinson’s “fleeting attention span,” her “dazed personality and limited vocabulary.”
Instead of trashing Merkin as he promised Kendra, he wrote a letter telling Daphne that he “thinks it’s the best, most perceptive piece on the show to date.” Sheesh, people, this is what Hugh does—he lies to women. It’s the foundation of his entire career.
