Lauren Jones stars in Anchorwoman, a reality show on FOX.Lauren Jones is a hot scamp who has been a WWE Diva, one of those Price is Right girls, and a former Miss New York USA beauty queen finalist. She’s making a bigger name for herself since she joined the cast of Anchorwoman, a new Fox reality show in which they take some dumb hottie and teach her to read the news.
That would be Lauren of course, and this is different from how it’s really done how?
Anyway, some journalistic types think there’s more to news than teleprompter skills and fake boobs, and are plenty pissed according to the Hollywood Reporter. Who knew Tyler, Texas, would be the battle ground for journalistic integrity?
“One of the last sacred grounds of integrity in local television is the local newsroom, so I guess I would say I’m disappointed to see a station, much less one in our own community, that has evidently sold its integrity,” said Brad Streit of KLTV-TV, the ABC affiliate in Tyler.
Adds KETK-TV GM Mike DeLier of the NBC affiliate: “I see this as a stunt, and it’s a self-admitted stunt and not a journalistic endeavor.”
Oh, the ABC and NBC affiliates don’t like it, huh? Well, if Fox knows anything, it’s responsible journalism. Why, just the other night I was marveling at how fair and balanced the Fox News team was in exploring whether Hilary Clinton has stopped smoking crack and killing baby seals.
