via I’m Not ObsessedWhen Mario Vasquez up and left American Idol due to “personal reasons” back in February of 2005, he failed to give any specifics surrounding his immediate and mysterious departure.
Maybe that’s because Mario’s version of “personal reasons” means the following:
- He had gay fantasies about Magdaleno Olmos, an assistant for the company that produces American Idol, Fremantle Media.
- He followed Olmos into a bathroom, stood outside his stall, and commenced flogging the bishop while making eye contact with the object of his affection through the little gap in the stall door.
- He attempted to grope Olmos, even offering oral sex, which was purportedly denied.
If this isn’t already the strangest story you’ve heard in the last 5 minutes, then TMZ offers the icing on the cake regarding the lawsuit against Mario Vasquez:
In the lawsuit, Olmos claims that as he “managed to get out of the stall, and attempted to leave the bathroom,” Vazquez, grabbed his arm “in an effort to stop him.” Vazquez continued to call Olmos to come back as Vazquez “stood in the bathroom with his pants still down.”
Personal reasons. Yeah, I get it.

I feel sorry for Mario Vazquez. What a loser! he blew his chance of becaming a mainstream name and not even all Arista Records money saved his career!!!
Second chance to make another album? maybe..if his record company believe in no credibility people who’s trying to make it in the business. America made up its mind about this dude..lets move to the next artist hopefully somebody honest, real and w/ talent.
