Michelle Ryan as the Bionic Woman

British actress Michelle Ryan was cast as the lead in a pilot series called Bionic Woman in February of 2007, and on May 14, 2007, NBC (UK) announced that the show would be joining its 2007–08 lineup. The original Bionic Woman aired during the 1970s, and this version is said to be a “re-imagination” of that long-lost bit of TV lore.
