Celebrity Hack Humor Contest
Details and Official Rules

The Celebrity Hack humor contest is free to enter. Each week, the CelebrityHack.com editorial staff will post several opportunities on www.celebrityhack.com for registered users to provide humorous commentary. You may comment one time on each and every post during any week, but if you comment more than once per post, only your first comment will be considered.

Only registered members of Celebrity Hack over 18 years of age will be able to comment and be eligible to win, but any site visitor, registered or not, may vote on any existing comment. At this time, only registered members who contribute English-language comments are eligible to win. The email address and other personal information of registered members will not be shared, sold, rented, or otherwise revealed to any third party.

The public and the Celebrity Hack editorial staff will cast their votes, and the entry with the highest score will win. The winning entry will demonstrate exceptional humor, a clever approach, and strong lateral thinking.

In short, make us all laugh!

Official Rules, Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is free to enter.

2. The competition is open to web site visitors over the age of 18, and of any skill level, as long as the entry comments are in the English language. Employees and staff of Celebrity Hack and their families are not eligible to enter.

3. Contestants must register to join.

4. Contestants may submit only one comment per post as an official entry for that post, but may comment on each and every post released in a given week.

5. The public will cast their vote on ‘yes’ or ‘no’ basis, and aggregate numbers will be tallied.

6. The judges will cast their vote on a scale from 1-5 from the 10 most popular comments of the week.

7. The judges’ votes will be based on the following criteria:

  • Humor
  • Creativity
  • Lateral Thinking

8. The comment with the highest score for the week wins. If there is a draw, the judges will decide amongst the tied submissions.

9. We reserve the right to remove any comments or votes deemed suspicious or off topic. Our decision in this respect will be final, no discussion or correspondence will be entered into.

The winner will be announced each Monday afternoon (Eastern Standard Time), so make sure to sign up for free updates.

Deadlines & Entry Rights Information

All entries must be submitted before each week’s deadline. The comment sections for the entire week’s posts will be closed when the deadline for the week has past. The deadline each week will be Sunday at 6:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

Celebrity Hack assumes all comments are original creations and are the works and property of the commenter, with all rights granted therein. However, Celebrity Hack reserves the right to freely publish the winning entries online or in other media. Celebrity Hack is not liable for any copyright infringement on the part of the entrant.
